The pendant is made with powdered pine bark and Microfibrillated Cellulose (MFC), cast and pressed into sheets that were then cut into delicate pieces.

The mixture and manufacturing process were developed in the CHEMARTS lab at Aalto University.

The material used for the hooks is recycled 925 silver.
