This ring made of cellulose materials and leaf gold looks heavy but is light like a feather. The metal part is made of stainless steel.

Kare Jewellery is a collection of unique jewellery created by three Aalto University students, Anna Alho, Anniina Korte and Adela Ogunbor.

“Our collection is inspired by the nature of the Helsinki metropolitan area: where forests abound, granit base rock peeks through the ground and waters of the Gulf of Finland frame the urban landscape.

Our respect towards nature's own looks and organic coincidences directs the design. Like pebbles on the shore, each piece of jewellery is one-of-a-kind.”
